SUMMER TIME!!!!
I think I've seen at least five facebook statuses that have mentioned something about Spring Break being a tease for summer break. I would have to to agree!
This break was pretty low key. Last Saturday, we began working in the yard. I'll attach a picture, hopefully tomorow. Can you believe I have yet to take a picture of our work! I've planted several kinds of flowers. It's taken me 23 years to realize that I love the outdoors. Yes, this came as a shock to my mom too! Today I swept and mopped the floors and absolutely could not wait until I could get outside!
Tuesday, my sister and I went to Memphis and ate at The Melting Pot, our favorite! We stayed in a hotel and felt like big girls! We shopped 'til we dropped on Wednesday and meet my college roomie, Amy, and her hubby, Eli, for dinner in Oxford. We stayed with them in their super nice, new house. We woke up Thursday morning, did a little shopping around Oxford, and made our way back home. It was a super fun girls trip!
Today, I cleaned the house, enjoyed the outdoors, and Daniel and I went with my family to eat at The Caboose in McComb. I highly recommend this place. The steak was DELICIOUS!
So, I've got lots of new clothes, had lots of family time, and feeling relaxed... so do I really have to go back to school Monday?!?!
